    The invention relates to a modular seating, according to the preamble of claim 1.
    The term modular seating furniture or modular furniture refers to furniture that are assembled from individual parts, the so-called modules, the modules should allow to produce a variety of differently designed furniture with the smallest possible number of different modules. In a broader sense is also required that it should be possible without much effort to disassemble a once made furniture back into its modules and reassemble them in another form to another piece of furniture.
    For seating furniture, for example, it is known to use a stool as a module and another module as a back part, optionally also as a side cheek. By screwing together several stools to get a bank, possibly also a corner seat, and by appropriate attachment of the back modules, the respective backrest. If side armrests are required, a backrest is also provided there, which, however, due to their height, does not allow for comfortable use as an armrest.
    Another modular furniture has flat backs and the same high, flat side panels that can be combined with low, vertical intermediate parts and front panels to benches, whereupon square covers are placed and placed thereupon seat cushions and back upholstery. Such a system can not be used without the upholstery and, because of the fineness of the individual modules, it almost goes into classic furniture construction.
    The invention has the purpose of demonstrating a simple and both backrests and armrests-providing modular seating, in which nevertheless a total of material, thus weight and cost, is saved.
    The invention achieves this goal by the features specified in the claim, in other words, there are three different modules provided, a back module (B), which extends to the bottom and its height forms a backrest, a side module (A ), which extends to the floor and whose height allows comfortable use as an armrest, and a seat module (C) with a square seat and a flat, load-bearing, vertical front surface that extends to the floor.
    This means that the fastening of the back side of the seat at the appropriate height on the back module (B), and that the side modules (A), which also extend to the bottom, are also connected at the appropriate height with the side of the seat. These connections may preferably consist of angles and screws, other connections such as plug-in devices, etc. are of course possible.
    By not waiving it, the seat, as in the aforementioned example of the prior art, self-supporting and stable form and this in any case vorzusehenden back modules (B) and the lateral end of a piece of furniture the side modules (A) reserve per seat three vertical side panels are saved.

    The seat module (C) is shown throughout the drawing to avoid overburdening on its essential structure, the L-shaped cross section, limited, in reality, it has of course a corresponding thickness or thickness, but the drawing emphasize that the seat module (C) next to the actual seat only has a substantially vertically extending, reaching to the bottom front surface, three of the four sides of the square shaped seat have no supportive organs.
